The Will of Thomas
Gawn late of Ballyboley County Antrim Farmer
deceased who died 17 January 1872 at same
place was proved at Belfast by the oath of
John Gawn of Ballyboley (Ballynure)
aforesaid Farmer one of the Executors. |

Will of Thomas Gawn, Ballyboley.
I Thomas Gawn of Ballyboley do hereby make and ordain this
as my last Will and Testament all others being revoked.
1st. I do give and bequeath to my son John all that farm of
land at present in my possession with the appurtenances
thereof with the exception of the various matters and things
hereinafter specified.
2nd. I do give and bequeath to my son Robert all and every
one of those houses, dung pits, turf sheds, and gardens at
present in his possession being part and parcel of the above
mentioned farm together with the sum of fifty pounds
sterling to be paid by my said son John to my said son
Robert as his claim in full against the aforesaid farm
property.
3rd. I do hereby will and order that my wife Sarah shall
have the support and maintenance from the said farm and
property should she survive me and it is possible to remain
and live with John, she to have the sum of eight pounds
sterling annually to be paid to her by my said son John
during the time of her natural life.
4th. I give and bequeath to any of my remaining family
besides the above mentioned John and Robert the sum of one
penny each should any of them claim such as full settlement
of their claim on said property.
5th. I hereby will and appoint my above mentioned sons John
and Robert as the Executors of this my last Will and
Testament signed sealed and delivered by me Thomas Gawn the
Testator in the presence of the undermentioned witnesses who
have also signed this in each others presence on this 26th
day of March 1870 seventy.

The last Will and Testament of Thomas Gawn late of
Ballyboley in the County of Antrim farmer deceased was
proved in common form of Law and Probate thereof granted by
Her Majesty's Court of Probate in Ireland in the district
registry of Belfast to John Gawn of Ballyboley aforesaid
farmer one of the Executors named in said will, he being
first sworn. Power being reserved to make the like Grant to
Robert Gawn the other Executor when he shall apply for the
same.
