Gawn re. his ancestry there were three other daughters
On the passenger list
of the Andrew Foster arrival Ellis Island, New
York 1855 were Mary Gawn aged 30 (born C. 1825)
and Ellen Gawn aged 26 (born C. 1828). They were
accompanied by Jane Wallace aged 26, who could
have been a cousin. It is possible that
Mary and Ellen are two of these three daughters.
It is possible that the
third daughter was Margaret Gawn born 1820/30
who married Archibald Reid of Kilrea before
1849.
