Probate of the Will of James M'Connell late of Ballyharvey County Antrim Farmer who died 11 January 1904 granted at Belfast to Thomas John M'Connell and Thomas Ramsey Farmers

Will of James McConnell of Ballyharvey

I James McConnell of Ballyharvey in the County of Antrim, Farmer hereby revoke all wills codicils and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last will which I make this twenty-ninth day of December 1903. I appoint my brother Thomas John McConnell and my nephew Thomas Ramsey to be executors hereof. I direct my executors to sell my property of every kind and to divide the proceeds thereof into ten equal parts and to pay one of such parts to each of my brothers and sisters namely Sarah Ramsey, Margaret Moore, Martha Ann Gawn, Dr. Andrew McConnell, Nancy McConnell, Thomas John McConnell, Jane Allen and Isabella Kirkwood and to divide one part equally among the children of my sister Eliza Mary Smith and to divide the remaining part equally among the children of my brother William McConnell. And if any of the above named legatees shall predecease me leaving child or children shall get equally among them the share to which their parent would have been entitled if alive. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the day and year above written.

Signed and acknowledged by the above named James McConnell the testator as and for his last will in presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have here unto subscribed our names as witnesses.
