HORSE-JUMPING AT 
					BANGOR 
					 
					Mr. J. Warwick's America Challengers Win Chief Contest 
					Five of the horses which Mr. John Warwick, of Belfast, is to 
					send to Boston in October were among the many representative 
					Irish animals which took part in jumping competitions at 
					Bangor Castle grounds on Saturday, when the equine portion 
					of the programme of Bangor Horticultural Society, postponed 
					after the storm calamity to the flower show, was held. 
					 
					Mr. Warwick carried off the first three places in the 
					principal competition—that for the Sir Thomas Wilson Silver 
					Cup for jump¬ing. All three of his successful animals were 
					ridden by J. M'Connell.
